Preventative care is an important aspect in maintaining your pet's health. Proper vaccination is vital in protecting them against harmful disease.

Distemper Vaccine - $35
Ferrets are able to contract canine distemper virus, which is a highly contagious and almost always fatal viral disease. It is spread by contact with infected dogs, wildlife and can cause fever, severe eye/nose discharge (crusts), skin rashes on the chin/groin/feet (hyperkeratosis), lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, and neurological signs like seizures.

We use the PureVax Ferret Distemper. This vaccine needs boostered yearly and can be given in ferrets as young as 8 weeks old.
